Blink Devlog #16 Thursday August 29


Hello!

Today is the final day of working on Blink. It was honestly such a fun experience, and I’m super grateful for this opportunity. Today I had a lot to do, first, the level was currently empty so I started by finishing the stealth enemy from yesterday and once that was done, I scattered nav meshes around my level and placed a mix of normal and stealth enemies - then I added some variation in the landscape shape and paint to keep things interesting. After it was functional I began placing houses, buildings, props, and foliage to populate the area, adding powerups around for the player to find. Finally, I downloaded the water plugin and added small ponds and lakes around the city to break up the landscape.
