Blink Devlog #15 Wednesday August 28


Hey!

Today I felt that the game was a bit boring so I wanted to add a second type of enemy, a stealth enemy. The main concept was that you can’t kill them and instead have to do a takedown which requires getting close to them and they do more damage than the normal enemies. I did have to add a crouching function and animations to sneak up on them which was semi-difficult since I had to retarget the animations for the player character. My inspiration for this mechanic is games like Spiderman where stealth missions are fairly common and I want to thank Ryan Laley once again for some of the AI help.
